2023 will be etched in Cosmyx's history as an incredible year! A true testament to our team's dedication, we want to reflect on the two iconic and inseparable events of the past months. Elevated as symbols of French manufacturing excellence, we are experiencing an incredible success story just three years after the creation of Cosmyx.

COSMYX AT THE ÉLYSÉE: SUCCESS AT LA GRANDE EXPOSITION DU FABRIQUÉ EN FRANCE

Selected from over 2500 candidate companies, our Cosmyx team had the honor of participating in the prestigious Grande Exposition du Fabriqué en France at the Élysée Palace on July 1st and 2nd. A significant recognition for our company and an indescribable pride in representing the Essonne department and France at such a major event!

Initiated by the President of the Republic, this annual exhibition highlights companies and artisans embodying the excellence of "Made in France" It also emphasizes the importance of environmentally friendly and socially innovative production, contributing to local economic development.

Cosmyx shone as the sole representative of industrial additive manufacturing. Our participation was a valuable opportunity to showcase our latest innovation, the 3D micro-factory MIRA, share our vision for the future of 3D production, and demonstrate the excellence of French craftsmanship.

CHARLEMAGNE'S CHESSBOARD: A GIFT PRESENTED BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC

With one good news never coming alone, thanks to our resounding success at la Grande Exposition du Fabriqué en France, the Presidency of the Republic has chosen us to manufacture a 3D replica of 16 chess pieces representing Charlemagne's chessboard.

Produced in just 11 days with our industrial micro-factory MIRA, these pieces were printed in ColorFabb Bronze filament, a PLA/PHA formulation loaded with bronze, providing an authentic appearance and exceptional quality. A hand patina was then applied to each piece for a perfect finish. These works of art are also admired for their large dimensions (over 15 cm in height for the kings).

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the strategic partnership between France and India, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was the guest of honor at the National Day celebrations on July 14.

Following a dinner at the Élysée Palace, he was presented with several symbolic gifts from the French cultural heritage by President Emmanuel Macron. Among them was our unique reproduction of Charlemagne's Chessboard. Indeed, the Indian Prime Minister has always highlighted chess as one of his favorite pastimes and had delivered a speech at the 44th Chess Olympiad in 2022, held in Chennai, India.

This famous chessboard, dating back to the late 11th century, is currently housed in the Cabinet des Médailles at the National Library of France in Paris. Although not identical to the Indian chess game, it illustrates the significance of cultural exchanges between India and Europe during the Middle Ages. Today, Charlemagne's Chessboard is a historical treasure that bears witness to human fascination with strategic games for centuries.

This project was an additional demonstration of our expertise in additive manufacturing and our commitment to French excellence. Our team deployed all its know-how to bring these unique pieces to life, highlighting its ability to undertake the most ambitious 3D printing projects.

La Grande Exposition du Fabriqué en France and the creation of Charlemagne's Chessboard will remain emblematic moments for our team, symbolizing our unwavering commitment to innovation and industrial renaissance in France.
