The CMQ Aéronautique et Spatial was inaugurated, and COSMYX was present to mark the occasion of our partnership. Alongside many other industry 4.0 players and technological tools, two NOVA professional 3D printers from France represented 3D printing in this space dedicated to the industry of the future.
What is the CMQ Aéronautique et Spatial ?
The Campus des Métiers et des Qualifications (CMQ) Aéronautique et Spatial is a place that brings together companies, training organizations, research players and local authorities. The aim of this organization is to work on a triple axis : training, skills and jobs. As the CMQ is a demonstrator of Industry 4.0, the challenges of such an establishment necessarily involve strengthening the digital transformation of VSE-SMEs and the educational and industrial performance of the Île-de-France region.
A partnership showcased at Global Industrie, 1 month before the campus inauguration
Even before the campus inauguration, CMQ and COSMYX were exhibiting together at Global Industrie. During this industrial event, the CMQ organized, on its stand, the first Hackathon 4.0, in which a NOVA took center stage. The theme of this first edition was data science, which is of prime importance in Industry 4.0. This data helps to make industrial supply, storage and distribution activities more reliable, using statistical analysis and artificial intelligence (another Industry 4.0 challenge). It's an honor and a joy for the entire COSMYX team to see tomorrow's professionals lay their hands on our professional French 3D printer, a tool for the industry of the future, at such an event.
CMQ inauguration
After many discussions with the CMQ teams on the challenges of Industry 4.0 and additive manufacturing, we were delighted to install two NOVA machines. Fully integrated into the production chain of the Industry of the Future demonstrator, they represent the 3D printing part of the campus. On the occasion of the inauguration, which took place on June 30, 2022, our President Anthony Seddiki and Olivier Lory, COSMYX DG/DAF, were able to present additive manufacturing within Industry 4.0 and the global solution developed by COSMYX to the various players present. The event also provided an opportunity to present distributed manufacturing within a 4.0 production unit. COSMYX's value proposition was greatly appreciated by the players present. Among those present were : Dassault Systèmes, Fanuc France, Datategy and Schunk. All part of the movement and evolution of industry towards 4.0 and even 5.0.
