The Kimya PEBA-S 3D filament is a thermoplastic elastomer. Polyether block amide (PEBA) is produced by the polycondensation of a carboxylic acid polyamide with an alcohol-terminated polyether. PEBA, derived from Arkema's PEBAX, is highly flexible, boasting the highest elongation percentage in the range (>550%). It finds applications in the creation of shoe soles and other sports equipment (cycling, golf, American football helmets) due to its significant energy return.
