COSMYX 3D was present at the Parc des Expositions, Porte de Versailles, for the 5th edition of the Viva Technology trade show. A benchmark event in the field of new technologies, Viva Technology has established itself as the essential meeting place for the industry of the future. COSMYX 3D was invited by the show's organizers to present itself at a start-up pitch.
Saturday June 19, 2021 Porte de Versailles
Something is brewing in the streets of southern Paris, as a crowd gathers near the main entrance to the Porte de Versailles exhibition center. Most of them are curious onlookers, here to discover the latest developments at this new technology event. Amidst the many tents set up for anti-COVID tests, the atmosphere is friendly and friendly, with everyone already marvelling at the idea of what awaits them on the other side of this great wall.
COSMYX 3D prepares to take to the stage
The entire COSMYX 3D team was on hand to showcase its NOVA and present this professional French 3D printer. Mounted on a dedicated cabinet and plugged into a battery, our French 3D printer took on an almost magical dimension to appeal to the widest possible audience. The NOVA moved with the help of team members, lighting up the way with its LEDs. The NOVA's unplugged printing capabilities and design intrigued visitors to the show.
COSMYX 3D at the Viva Technology start-up pitch
Numerous start-ups were present, including La Pâtisserie Numérique, which links pastry-making and 3D printing ; Bone3D, which offers 3D solutions to the medical sector; 3DVarius, which brings 3D to the world of music; our partner CAPIFIL, manufacturer of 3D filament; Handddle, which offers a "smart farm" solution for distributed manufacturing; and, of course, COSMYX 3D, accompanied by the NOVA, its professional French 3D printer designed for distributed manufacturing.
Pitch after pitch, the NOVA continued to spin and attract visitors to Viva Technology. At the end of the fourth presentation, it was the turn of COSMYX 3D, the only 3D printer manufacturer present at these pitches, to take to the stage. Surrounded by objects and the NOVA in action, our president, Anthony SEDDIKI, went back over the history of our brand and its sense of solidarity, directly linked to the Visière Solidaire association. 5 minutes to present the global project and highlight the technological choices made for our professional 3D printer and distributed manufacturing.
End of pitches and start of the COSMYX Show
Once COSMYX 3D, CAPIFIL and all the other startups had introduced themselves, the show wasn't over for our teams. Thanks to the installation of the NOVA on a wheeled stand, our French 3D printer made its way through the aisles of the show. As Saturday was reserved for the general public, many curious onlookers approached the NOVA to see it producing 3D objects without being connected to a power cable or mains socket. "It's magic, this thing", a father told his children, as our French 3D printer continued on its way. Passing from stand to stand, the NOVA not only seduced new technology enthusiasts, it also caught the eye of some exhibitors (but that's the subject of another post).
